Celebrate the New Silk Road Cultural Heritage District!

Wed, Mar 5 10:00 AM
9329 Wurzbach Rd ste 104, San Antonio, TX, USA Map

Join us for a press conference celebrating the designation of the Silk Road Cultural Heritage District and unveiling of its first History Here marker!

The Silk Road Cultural Heritage District was approved by the Historic and Design Review Commission on December 18. The new cultural heritage district recognizes the many cultures and communities whose roots stem from North and Central Africa to Eastern Asia that shop, live, and interact along the Wurzbach corridor. Read more at www.scoutsa.com/culturalheritagedistricts.

Please join the Office of Historic Preservation and the District 8 Council Office to celebrate.  We are excited to unveil new street banners and the very first History Here marker in D8.
